Poor me...
you know what happens to the best of intentions. I fought with my cable connection all day. The repair man will be here tomorrow afternoon. Today I would have to turn off the computer, unplug the gateway box, wait 60 seconds and then replug and boot up the computer...did that about 4 times. The signal would last for maybe 30 minutes. Finally the Comcast person would acknowledge that there is something wrong with the line and a repair person must work on it.
My back-up now is Switchisp. I'm glad to have it and it works just as well as my old AT&T dial up connection. That's small consolation. I love my broadband and I'm spoiled.
Needless to say, I did not get much work done today. Lucky me to be retired. There's always tomorrow....
